Thank You!
I would like to offer a sincere "
Thank You" to every one of my supporters who helped achieve this victory. I will look forward to serving you, our schools and our community on the board.
Lawn Sign Return
I would like to
recover as many of our yard signs as possible. If we can rally just one more time and help pick up any of my signs you see - no matter where they are. Legally, they need to be removed within 7 days of the campaign. But also, each sign cost almost 4 bucks, so I will store them for a future campaign. You can either bring them by my place any time you like - just put them by the front door if we're not around - or feel free to call the office and we'll be glad to pick them up from you. Thank you.

Long before there was a Bell Labs (Lucent), Amoco or NALCO, or a Fox Valley Mall - let alone multiple high schools and school districts - Dave Weeks arrived in Naperville as a child. He was in the first class at Lincoln Junior High and graduated from Naperville Community High School (NCHS) in 1969. Dave's wife, Lynn, was also a '69 NCHS grad and received a teaching degree at North Central College in 1973. She still teaches 2nd grade in a neighboring public school district. Dave's daughters graduated from Naperville North High School (NNHS) in '99 & '03.

Daily Herald Endorsement: "Relations between the teachers union and district have been less than stellar, given the history of strikes, near-strikes and oft-contentious negotiations. We think Weeks, a longtime resident, recognizes this as well as any candidate in the field and recommends finding a way to ease the "always adversarial" negotiations process.
We also like the philosophy he would bring to the board, letting the educators educate, but providing the leadership and direction educators need."

Anything you can do is deeply appreciated.
I've never run for public office before and am finding it a daunting task. If you can help in any way to get me introduced to the community it would be tremendously appreciated. Join Our Team
